The history of Château Ateni dates back to 2010, when the first vineyard was planted. Ateni is the only officially registered sparkling wine zone in Georgia, and Château Ateni is currently the only producer of sparkling Atenuri. Our wines are made exclusively from estate-grown grapes, and in time we plan to revive the forgotten indigenous grape varieties of Kartli.
