Château Ateni collects only the information needed to answer you and handle your bookings, and we do not sell it. Who is responsible. Your personal data is controlled by Individual Entrepreneur Zauri Vanishvili (ი/მ ზაური ვანიშვილი), trading as "Château Ateni", identification code 59001003749, village Ateni, Gori Municipality, Shida Kartli 1402, Georgia. Contact: chateau.ateni@gmail.com, +995 599 158 025. What we collect and why. • Contact form: your name, e-mail address and message, so that we can reply. The message is delivered to our mailbox through the EmailJS service. • Wine-tasting bookings: your name, e-mail address, phone number, any special requests and the booking details (date, time, number of guests, chosen menu), so that we can confirm and manage your visit and send you booking e-mails. For the 50% deposit we keep the amount paid and Bank of Georgia's order and transaction references, so that we can make refunds. Your card details are entered on Bank of Georgia's secure payment page and never reach our website. • Cottage bookings: made on our booking partner's page (OTELMS) or on Booking.com. They collect your booking and card details under their own privacy policies; we receive the booking details needed to host you. • Technical error reports: if a page fails, we record the page address, browser type and the error so that we can fix it. These reports can occasionally contain what was on the page at the time; we use them only to fix errors and delete them when no longer needed. Statistics and cookies. • Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights count visits and measure page speed without cookies and report only aggregated data. • Google Analytics runs only if you accept analytics cookies in the banner. It records which pages are viewed and which booking, phone, WhatsApp and shop links are clicked, together with approximate location and device type, and sets cookies (such as _ga) for this. We do not use advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. • Your browser stores a few preferences locally (language, colour theme, your cookie choice). • The map is provided by Google Maps and loads only when you choose to show it; videos come from YouTube (in privacy-enhanced mode). These services may set their own cookies when they load. Who processes your data. Bank of Georgia (card payments and refunds), Supabase (our database), EmailJS (contact-form and booking e-mails), Vercel (website hosting and visit statistics), Google (Analytics with your consent, Maps, YouTube and the review rating), WhatsApp (messages you send us), OTELMS and Booking.com (cottage bookings), and Cloudinary (images; no personal data). Some of these providers store data outside Georgia, including in the United States. How long we keep it. Only as long as needed for the purpose you provided it - messages until your enquiry or stay is completed, unless we must keep them longer by law, and payment records for the period required by accounting and tax law. Google Analytics keeps statistics for the retention period set in our account. Your rights. You may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent to analytics at any time, by e-mailing chateau.ateni@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.
